Whatever you’re like, whatever your experience of church; we have a service to suit you
Our usual pattern of services is as follows but can vary at special festivals and over holiday periods.
Please check on the calendar for any variations.
8.00 a.m. Holy Communion
(1st and 3rd Sundays of each month)
A traditional communion service following the order of service from the Book of Common Prayer. Usually lasts around 35 minutes. Please check our calendar as sometimes this service cannot take place.
9.30 a.m. Contact Service
(every Sunday except 3rd each month)
A service for the whole family with crèche facilities and teaching activities appropriate for children and adults alike. Usually finishes by 10.30 a.m. Once a month we include Holy Communion.
Followed by refreshments between the services
11.00 a.m. Morning Service
(every Sunday except 3rd each month)
A more traditional service of Holy Communion or Morning Prayer with organ and with hymns and songs. Usually finishes by 12.10 p.m.
10.45 a.m. Family Parade Service
(3rd Sunday of each month)
A chance for everyone to meet together to worship the Lord, joined by the uniformed organisations.
Refreshments are served after these services
Evening Services
These are usually held fortnightly alternating between a Healing Service and Informal Worship. Please check the calendar as sometimes Evening Services vary.
Other Services:
There is a midweek Holy Communion Services on the first and third Wednesdays at 10.15 a.m. in Church, and on the second Wednesday a Service is held at Hulton Care at 10.45 a.m.. On the fourth Wednesday of the month there is Holy Communion at 12.30 p.m. followed by a Fellowship Lunch in the vestry which includes a time of reflection and sharing around a bible passage.
